The Truth Behind Dean WIlson's CENSORED Sponsor

Dean Wilson put together an impressive privateer race team prior to the start of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series with some backing from some outside-the-box sponsors. Among them was Ignite CBD, a brand that was launched in September of 2018 by renowned poker player, businessman, and social media giant Dan Bilzerian. Due to NBC’s stringent broadcast regulations, though, Wilson was told at Anaheim One that he would have to cover up the Ignite CBD logos on his motorcycle and riding gear. In all reality, this brought more attention to his new sponsor than ever, as the CENSORED tape logos on his bike and gear were more eye-catching than the logo itself would have been.

Bilzerian addressed the situation on his Twitter account, blasting NBC for their censorship. Needless to say, his tweet was received with wild enthusiasm.

Just yesterday, it was announced that Wilson has been recruited to fill in on the Rocklstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team for injured Supercross Champion Jason Anderson. In his own Instagram feed, WIlson was happy to announce that he would be allowed to maintain all of his personal sponsors, including Ignite CBD, as well as Toyota of Escondido and Artificial Grass Liquidators. See the press release here.

CBD is one of the fastest-growing markets at the moment, and there are a ton of misconceptions about the product. To find out more about Ignite CBD, and get the facts about the oft-misunderstood product, Wilson invited us to join him in a meeting with Ignite CBD’s Erick Kozin. Learn more in the video below!
