Slick Dirt Bike Wash Kit
Price: $54.99
Slick Products has developed a three-step cleaning process that includes a spray on soap, a degreaser for the extra grimy spots, and a protectant that is applied after the bike is clean. The Off-Road Wash is super concentrated, and it only takes a tiny amount to generate a lot of foam spray, and the 32 oz. bottle makes eight gallons. Slick recommends hosing the giant chunks of mud off the bike, then foaming the entire bike up with the Off-Road Wash and allowing it to sit for a few minutes while areas like the engine and sprockets should be treated with the degreaser. The kit comes with a soft, big-bristle brush for scrubbing dirtier areas like beneath the fenders. We were shocked how well this process worked, even without the help of a power washer. Obviously, high pressure works best, but if you only have a hose this is for sure the way to go. The protectant spray is great on the plastic and especially under the fenders as it helps keep mud from sticking. We’ve washed our test bikes over a dozen times with our initial kit and have barely used half the supplies. In reality, $54.99 isn’t bad at all!
