Red Bull KTM invited Swapmoto Live out to Perris Raceway last week to meet its first-ever factory flat track team members Dan Bromley and Shayna Texter. Bromley is the defending American Flat Track Singles Champion and Texter is a 15-time National winner. Both are as badass as you might imagine, and we loved watching them skid their modified KTM 450 SX-F bikes around the Perris Raceway short track.
Then...they invited members of the media to take a stab at it! SML test rider Pat Foster volunteered for the experience, and he had the time of his life. “It was a lot harder than it looks,” admitted Foster. “But man, what a blast! I can’t wait to try this again!”
Defending American Flat Track Singles Champion Dan Bromley was glad to share some riding tips with members of the media. Some picked up quickly…others did not. We’re proud to report that our very own PFo was a quick learner and was sliding around the course in no time.
“I said go fast and turn left!” Champ Bromley was great when it came to coaching the journalists on hand.

The 2019 American Flat Track Championship consists of 18 rounds and is a mix of mile, half-mile, short track, and TT events. The schedule is as follows.
