FXR Revo MX 19 Gear

Price: $65 (jersey); $165 (pant); $40 (glove)

FXR is a relatively new player in the motocross apparel game in the United States, but the brand is widely recognized in Canada, north of the border. The largest and most popular snowcross and snowmobile apparel brand in Canada (and likely the world), FXR has expanded into the motocross market and applied all that it has learned through the years making snow gear to its line of motocross apparel.

The Revo MX 19 line sits one step below the most premium line in the FXR line (that honor goes to the Helium line), but the Revo MX is quite honestly as good or better than other brand’s high, high end gear.

The Revo MX 19 jersey is made from extremely comfortable, vented four-way stretch polyester spandex blend, and it offers absolutely zero resistance, and a ton of air flow. This is one of the stretchiest jerseys we’ve ever ridden in and to be honest, this could allow you to go a size down from normal. The cuffs and collar feature extra-soft materials to prevent chafing, and the jersey’s sublimated graphics do not fade, even when you wash and machine dry them. Oops…did we say machine dry? We would never do that…

The real magic in the Revo MX 19 line is the pant. We love the Revo for its simple waist adjusters and closure. No fancy snaps, ratchets or belts…only a Velcro waist closure and side adjusters. We have never had them come loose or pop open, and the side cinches offer a ton of adjustment. The pants themselves are made of generous amounts of four-way stretch materials, and they are literally like slipping into your favorite pair of pajama bottoms. The pant allows you to move as you wish on the bike and never binds, catches, or pulls. Genuine leather panels inside the knees prevent burning when in contact with exhaust systems, and the leather also offers nice traction against the sides of the bike. Like the jersey, the sublimated graphics stay bright and vivid.

The FXR Revo MX 19 glove is simple, with virtually no padding on the back or palm area. It is a minimalist glove to the nth degree…and we love it! Offering just enough protection for your hands against blisters and flying debris, the Revo MX Glove is easy to break in and much more durable than you might assume. Its only downfall? They can be a little tough to slip over the meaty part of your palm when new.
