The Eastern Regional 250 Supercross Championship kicked off inside US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and GEICO Honda's Chase Sexton rebounded from an early race crash to finish fifth aboard his Jade Dungey-tuned Honda CRF250R. In the off-season, Sexton suffered a broken collarbone while training, but rebounded quickly and showed up hoping to win the opener.
